Who you are hiring
Color Pros Inc is Ramon Coria’s company. He started painting in the South Bay in the late 1980s, opened Color Pros in Milpitas in 2003 and incorporated it in 2013, when the state issued the C-33 painting license the company still holds. In 2026 the office moved to Morgan Hill. Ramon writes every estimate himself, is on site during the work and does the final walk-through with you.
The crew is small and has been with him a long time. Customers mention the lead painters by name in their reviews; Andrew Salinas thanks Sotero for working through a hot weekend to keep an exterior on schedule after rain. Lori Shortt has used Ramon and the crew for twenty-five years. Justin Jones, a general contractor, has had Color Pros on his projects for fifteen.
How the crew works
Before a can is opened, windows, doors, brick, stone and plants are masked and the floors and furniture are covered. Prep is the long part of every job: washing, scraping, sanding, repairing stucco and wood, caulking, priming. Cleanup happens through the day and at the end of every day, so you can live in the house while the inside is painted and nothing is left in the yard after an exterior. At the end Ramon walks the job with you.
Paint is a small part of the cost and a big part of the result, so the crew uses premium lines from the major brands and low-VOC products inside. A house in the South Bay sun needs a new coat every seven to ten years; done properly, it will last that long.
